    Frequently asked questions

How many piercing shops are there in Florida?

We list 22 piercing studios in Florida: 5 confirmed by a licence record or map data, 10 confirmed on the shop's website and 7 unconfirmed.

Which cities in Florida have the most piercing shops?

In our directory: Tallahassee (3); Fort Myers (2); Ocala (2).

How do I find a piercer near me in Florida?

Press 'Find piercing shops near me' to list the closest studios to where you are, or open a city guide. Always call the studio to check opening hours and which piercings they offer.

What do the 'confirmed' and 'unconfirmed' labels mean?

'Piercing confirmed' means piercing is shown in an official licence record or the shop is tagged as a piercing studio in OpenStreetMap. 'Confirmed on shop website' means the shop's own website mentions piercing services. 'Unconfirmed' means the business name suggests piercing, but we have not confirmed that piercing is offered, so please call ahead.

What should I look for in a piercing studio?

Look for a clean studio with an autoclave and single-use needles (not a piercing gun for body piercings), implant-grade jewelry such as ASTM F136 titanium, a clear aftercare plan and a piercer who is happy to answer questions. Many experienced piercers belong to the Association of Professional Piercers (APP).
